I think mordaci was a very religous man with a great moral conviction toward God to bow before Haman was to in one respect to swear allegiance to a society that neither worshipped or respected God . Mordaci was not willing to do that even if it meant his death . Makes me think of those who are put to death for their testimony of Jesus Christ as their Savior
